Though they were allowed to present their case but were not allowed to watch the proceedings of CEC Meeting which speaks a lot and can be easily understood. The transparency & the resolve to care for the last member was clearly missing. Such attitude may spell doom to any Association in short term.
Report of the Sixth Central Pay Commission Page No. 626 Electricity Department 7.57.87 Higher pay scales have been sought for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer, Executive Engineer and Superintending Engineer. The posts are presently in the scales of Rs.8000-13500, Rs.10000-15200 and Rs.12000-16500. Higher scales have been sought on account of dispensation extended to organized Engineering cadres where scale of Rs.12000-16500 was made nonfunctional for Executive Engineers and Superintending Engineers were placed in the scale of Rs.14300-18300. Engineers in Electricity Department do not, however, belong to an organized service.
